About The Course
A good understanding of phonetic sounds gives children the confidence to not only identify the vowels, consonants, and syllables but also to read on their own. At Cedarwood, we use a multisensory approach considering the brief attention span of young learners. This course trains your child to identify 42 letter sounds which help them learn almost any word. Games, music, art & crafts, parents-child bonding activities are a big part of our lesson plans to ensure active engagement of your child. We follow the storytelling approach with your child to explore vocabulary, blending harder words with diagraphs, learning Mnemonics, understanding tricky words in a fun and engaging way. This course eventually helps your child to gain superior comprehension skills and reach a stage where they can read out words independently, coherently, and clearly.
